2. What DocTapir is
DocTapir is an independent directory and comparison service for hospitals, health packages and room rates in Malaysia. We are not a hospital, clinic, insurer or medical tourism agency, and we do not provide medical services, treatment, diagnosis or bookings. We compile publicly available information from each hospital’s own published materials so you can compare it in one place.
3. Using the site
You may browse, search and compare listings for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, resell or republish our content or data without permission
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage or disrupt it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
- Misrepresent DocTapir, or use our name or branding without consent
4. Accuracy of information
We take care to source hospital and package details directly from official materials and mark each listing with a last-verified date. 5. Not medical advice
Nothing on DocTapir is medical advice, and a listing on the site is not an endorsement or recommendation of any hospital, doctor, package or outcome. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
6. Intellectual property
The DocTapir name, logo, design and the way we organise and present our directory belong to DocTapir. Hospital names, logos and materials belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only. You may not reuse our branding or content without written permission.
7. Third-party links
DocTapir links to hospital websites and other external sources for reference and verification. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, accuracy or privacy practices of those external sites.
8. Limitation of liability
DocTapir is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocTapir, its founders and contributors accept no liability for any loss, injury, cost or damage arising from your reliance on information found on the site, or from your decision to contact or seek treatment at any listed facility.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes relating to the site or these terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
